Tow Truck Operator

Position Summary

We are looking for a Tow Truck Operator to safely recover and transport autonomous vehicles while supporting roadside operations and maintaining high safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate tow trucks and recovery equipment safely.

• Recover, load, transport, and unload autonomous vehicles.

• Support roadside incidents and collision recovery.

• Coordinate with dispatch and field leadership.

• Inspect and maintain towing equipment.

• Follow safety, DOT, and company procedures.

• Complete required incident and vehicle reports.

Required Qualifications

• Valid CDL or equivalent, as required.

• 1+ year of commercial towing experience.

• Clean driving record.

• Experience with wheel lifts, dollies, and recovery equipment.

• Strong safety awareness and ability to work under pressure.

• Must successfully complete required background checks and drug screening, where applicable.

Preferred Experience

• Fleet recovery, roadside assistance, commercial transportation, automotive repair, or heavy-duty recovery.
