Marketplace Quality & Operations Manager

About the Job

DRAIVER is a technology-driven logistics platform that enables vehicle movement planning, coordination, and execution. We connect businesses with transport services and independent contract drivers through one platform for routing, tracking, documentation, and payments.

We are looking for an Marketplace Quality & Operations Manager to build Risk as a new pillar within our Marketplace & Data team. This role will own marketplace risk end to end, including driver compliance, quality rules, telematics-based risk management, and reduction of vehicle damage claims.

You will be the first person fully dedicated to this area, with a clear mandate to build structure, define policies, reduce risk, and lower insurance and claims costs across our markets.

What You’ll Do

• Own Marketplace Risk strategy, priorities, KPIs, processes, and documentation.

• Map regulatory and client requirements for independent drivers across different countries and ensure operational alignment.

• Define driver quality rules, including suspensions and bans, and partner with internal teams to automate enforcement.

• Build a telematics-based risk program to identify risky driving patterns and drive preventive actions.

• Investigate vehicle damage claims and identify patterns by driver, client, route, and vehicle type.

• Develop initiatives to reduce claim frequency, severity, and insurance-related costs.

• Track risk and claims performance and report measurable results to leadership.

• Partner with Marketplace Strategy, Data, Operations, Legal, Product, and Account Management.

• Work with local teams across the US, Brazil, Mexico, Canada, and other markets to adapt policies to local requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Engineering, Law, Computer Science, or a related field.

• 4+ years of experience in risk, trust & safety, compliance, insurance, fleet operations, marketplace operations, or a related area.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to turn data into clear operational rules and actions.

• Experience defining and implementing policies or operational processes.

• Strong communication skills and ability to work across countries, teams, and stakeholders.

• Hands-on, high-ownership mindset and comfort building processes from scratch.

• Strong Excel/Google Sheets skills and comfort working with dashboards and data.

Nice to Have

Experience with telematics, driver-behavior data, insurance, claims, loss prevention, gig-economy marketplaces, SQL, Python, or BI tools. Spanish or Portuguese is also a plus.
