Head of Finance & Strategy

Beeflow is entering a critical stage of growth. We are looking for a highly analytical, hands-on, technology-driven and entrepreneurial Head of Finance & Strategy to help us reach sustainable profitability, strengthen our operating model and build the systems required to scale globally.

The role combines Finance, FP&A and business performance, strategic initiatives and investors, fundraising and Board support.

You will work closely with the CEO, COO and Country Managers, helping drive profitability, improve financial and operating performance, and support key business decisions. This is not a traditional corporate finance role, you will be expected to build financial models, understand field operations, challenge country plans, automate reporting, develop commercial tools and prepare investor materials.

The role reports directly to the CEO and is part of Beeflow's Leadership Team. You will lead a lean structure, including a Finance Analyst and external advisors, and should be comfortable being a hands-on builder, not just a manager.

Key Responsibilities

Finance & Business Performance

• Own Beeflow’s budget, rolling forecast and long-term financial plan, ensuring clear visibility into performance, cash flow and profitability.

• Lead business performance reviews with the CEO, COO and Country Managers, identifying risks and driving corrective actions.

• Analyze performance across countries, customers, crops and projects to improve financial accountability and decision-making.

• Lead a lean finance structure and oversee core financial operations and reporting.

Profitability & Capital Allocation

• Drive Beeflow’s path to sustainable profitability by identifying opportunities to improve margins, operating leverage and working capital.

• Evaluate the economics of countries, customers, crops and strategic initiatives.

• Support critical decisions on investments, headcount, markets, technology and resource allocation.

Finance Systems, Automation & AI

• Build a modern, scalable and technology-enabled finance function.

• Automate financial processes, reporting and workflows, connecting financial, commercial and operational data.

• Implement the right ERP, FP&A and business intelligence tools and build automated dashboards for leadership and the Board.

• Leverage AI for financial modeling, scenario planning, analysis and decision support.

Commercial & Operational Finance

• Partner with the COO and commercial teams on pricing, proposals, contracts and major commercial opportunities.

• Build financial models to evaluate customer profitability, service economics and business opportunities.

• Connect revenue plans with costs, margins, operational capacity and cash requirements.

• Spend time in Beeflow’s markets, fields and with customers and local teams to understand the business beyond the numbers.

• Requires regular international travel across Beeflow’s operating countries.

Strategy, Investors & Board

• Partner with the CEO and COO on strategic priorities, new markets, crops, partnerships and business-model opportunities.

• Build business cases and lead selected strategic initiatives from analysis through execution.

• Lead financial preparation for Beeflow’s next institutional financing round, including the financial model, investor metrics and data room.

• Support fundraising, investor diligence and Board reporting.

External Advisors & Compliance

• Coordinate external accounting, tax, audit and legal advisors across Beeflow’s jurisdictions.

• Ensure financial, tax and corporate compliance and support the administrative management of Beeflow’s intellectual property.
