The Field Associate is part of Beeflow's Operations team and is responsible for supporting the implementation and monitoring of pollination programs in the field.
This role involves regular fieldwork and data collection, including monitoring crop development and pollination, supporting basic beekeeping activities, and assisting with operational and research activities at client farms.
The Monitor works closely with the Operations team to ensure that field activities are carried out according to Beeflow's protocols and that accurate and timely information is collected.
Main Responsibilities
Monitor crop phenology and development throughout the pollination period.
Monitor crop pollination and bee activity according to Beeflow protocols.
Conduct field observations and collect accurate and timely data.
Assist with field trial and research activities.
Support the installation, monitoring, and maintenance of field trials when required.
Perform basic beekeeping and hive-related tasks.
Assist with the transportation, placement, and monitoring of beehives when required.
Record and report field observations, findings, and relevant operational information.
Support data collection during harvest or other stages of the crop cycle, when applicable.
Follow Beeflow's operational, safety, and fieldwork protocols.
Coordinate with Operations team members and client personnel as needed.
Work Environment
This is a field-based role. Monitors should be comfortable working outdoors and in different weather conditions, walking through agricultural fields, and performing tasks that may require standing, walking, lifting, and other physical activities.
The role may require travel between farms or field locations depending on the assigned service.

The duration, location, work schedule, and specific responsibilities may vary depending on the crop, client, and operational requirements of each service.
Estimated Start Date: Mid January 2027
Estimated Contract Duration: 4 weeks
Requisitos excluyentes
- Background in agronomy, biology, agricultural sciences, or a related field is preferred.
- Previous experience working in agricultural or field environments.
- Ability and willingness to work outdoors and perform physical fieldwork.
- Comfortable working around active beehives and bees.
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel to and between field locations, when required.
- Basic computer and data-entry skills.
- Ability to accurately collect, record, and report field data.
- Ability to work independently while following established protocols and instructions.
- Availability to work according to the operational needs of the assigned service.
