What the Job Entails (Top 5 Responsibilities)

● Own full-cycle accounting and monthly close for a portfolio of eCommerce clients,

ensuring a clean 5-day close on submitted work

● Review Accountant work for accuracy, completeness, and documentation quality

● Prepare and review reconciliations (bank, credit card, AR/AP, inventory, COGS,

prepaids, accruals, returns)

● Communicate directly with clients to share updates, clarify questions, request

information, and flag issues early

● Strengthen internal processes and controls; help streamline workflows to improve

accuracy and speed

● Similar scope of work as a Controller, but with slightly smaller or less complex portfolios,

allowing focused ownership

● High degree of client-facing interaction, owning operational communication with founders

and client teams
