This role supports a diverse portfolio of small to mid-sized businesses by delivering high-value financial leadership, full-cycle accounting oversight, and forward-looking advisory services. Key Responsibilities Financial Leadership & Advisory Act as a trusted advisor to clients, providing financial insights, recommendations, and guidance to support business decisions. Prepare and present monthly/quarterly financial reporting packages, KPI dashboards, and analysis. Support and participate in forecasting, budgeting, and scenario planning activities. Identify financial risks, cash flow concerns, and opportunities for operational improvements. Controller-Level Duties Oversee full-cycle accounting for multiple clients, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance. Manage month-end and year-end close processes, review and approve: Bookkeepers’ month-end working papers Balance sheet reconciliations (& ensure proper supporting schedules) Revenue/expense coding, accruals, payroll entries, and adjustments Develop, document, and enhance internal controls, financial policies, and accounting workflows.
