Accounting Analyst

We are seeking a hands-on Accounting Analyst to join our growing international Finance team. This role goes beyond traditional accounting. We are looking for someone with strong accounting fundamentals, a high level of ownership, and a technology-first mindset focused on automation, efficiency, and continuous improvement.

The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a fast-paced, international environment and collaborating with teams across different countries.

Experience with AI-driven automation and workflow optimization is a must-have. This person should be able to identify manual or inefficient processes and actively build and improve workflows using tools such as Claude, ChatGPT, and other AI/automation platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform and review journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations.

• Support month-end and year-end closing processes.

• Prepare monthly financial reports and ensure accuracy of financial records.

• Review corporate credit card expenses and supporting documentation.

• Support accounting activities across multiple international markets.

• Review contracts and non-routine transactions for accounting implications.

• Collaborate with external auditors and support compliance requirements.

• Help establish and improve accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls.

• Identify opportunities for cost control and process improvement.

• Build and optimize Finance and Accounting workflows using AI and automation tools.

• Use data and technology to improve reporting, reconciliations, controls, and financial analysis.

• Work closely with Finance, Operations, HR, Technology, and other teams.

Requirements:

• Strong accounting knowledge and relevant professional experience.

• Hands-on experience or strong demonstrated knowledge of AI tools, automation, and workflow optimization.

• Experience with tools such as Claude, ChatGPT, or similar AI platforms.

• Advanced English is essential for communication with international teams.

• Spanish proficiency is required.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• High level of ownership, accountability, and autonomy.

• Hands-on mentality and ability to thrive in a dynamic environment.

• Experience with SQL, Python, data analytics, or other automation technologies is a plus.

• Strong interest in leveraging tools such as Claude, ChatGPT, and other AI platforms to improve Finance processes.

• Fluent or advanced English is essential, as this role supports international markets and requires frequent communication with global stakeholders.

• Spanish proficiency is required for collaboration across Latin American markets.
