We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant to join our growing finance team. This role goes beyond traditional accounting, we are looking for someone who combines strong technical accounting expertise with a data-driven mindset and interest in automation. You will play a key role in financial reporting, compliance, and process improvement in a fast-paced, high-growth environment. Responsibilities include performing journal entries over various areas of the business, reviewing journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations, reviewing employee Corporate Credit Card expenses, collaborating with other employees and departments, establishing accounting policies and procedures, performing monthly reporting packages, reviewing contracts and unique transactions, collaborating with external auditors, exploring cost control and compliance improvement opportunities, and utilizing SQL, Python, and AI to analyze financial data.
Requisitos excluyentes
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from a top-tier university. CPA (or other equivalent) certification required.
- 5+ years of relevant accounting experience, preferably out of public accounting.
- Extensive knowledge of IFRS and U.S. GAAP standards.
Requisitos deseables
- Strong proficiency in SQL and Python, with the ability to query, analyze, and manage complex datasets.
- Fluency in English. Spanish and/or Portuguese is a plus.
