PROJECT DESCRIPTION

We are seeking an experienced SAP Functional Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) for our omnichannel retail initiatives.

This is a highly cross-functional role that sits at the intersection of SAP MM, SD, and IS-Retail. You will be responsible for designing, configuring, and optimizing our SAP architecture to support a seamless customer experience across digital and physical touchpoints.

From e-commerce integration and advanced store operations to end-to-end inventory management, this role is critical to modernizing our retail technology landscape.

MAIN TASKS

Key Responsibilities

Omnichannel & E-Commerce Integration (DTC)

Design and implement SAP solutions to support our expanding Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) business model.

Lead the backend SAP integration for E-commerce platforms, ensuring real-time data sync for pricing, promotions, and inventory visibility.

Architect and configure seamless omnichannel customer journeys, including BOPIS (Buy Online, Pick Up In Store), Click and Collect, and complex Return to Store processes for online orders.

Sales & Distribution (SD) / Order to Cash (OTC)

Own the end-to-end Order-to-Cash (OTC) process for both standard retail and digital channels.

Configure SAP SD modules to handle DTC order management, pricing, billing, and outbound delivery processing.

SAP Retail, CAR & Store Operations

Leverage SAP CAR (Customer Activity Repository) to provide real-time sales visibility, omnichannel inventory insights, and POS data transfer.

Optimize system architectures to support daily Store Operations, ensuring physical locations integrate smoothly with digital storefronts.

Materials Management (MM) & Inventory Control

Design and manage automated Stock Replenishment strategies to maintain optimal inventory levels across distribution centers and retail stores.

Configure and troubleshoot Stock Transport Orders (STO) to facilitate efficient intra-company inventory movement and store-to-store transfers.

REQUIRED SKILLS

Core SAP Expertise: 7+ years of hands-on functional experience across SAP SD, SAP MM, and SAP IS-Retail (ECC or S/4HANA).

Retail & Omnichannel: Deep understanding of modern retail supply chains, DTC business models, and omnichannel fulfillment strategies (BOPIS, Click & Collect).

SAP CAR: Proven experience working with SAP CAR, particularly in POS Data Transfer and Audit (POS DTA) and Omnichannel Article Availability (OAA).

Integration Skills: Strong background in integrating SAP with front-end E-commerce platforms (e.g., Salesforce Commerce Cloud, Shopify Plus, SAP Commerce/Hybris) and POS systems.

Problem Solving: Ability to bridge the gap between complex technical backend systems and front-end consumer/store associate experiences.
